A Happily Ever After

Miss Honey settled into the house that was rightfully hers, and Matilda was moved into a higher level class, where she could be challenged academically. Matilda and Miss Honey maintained a friendship, and cared deeply about one another.

One night when Matilda headed home from Miss Honey's her "father and mother" were packing there go, and said they had to leave town and had a plane to catch. Mr. Wormwood was in trouble with some crooks. Matilda refused to leave and ran back to Miss Honey's house. Miss Honey then came with her. Matilda refused to go with her parents. And then surprisingly her "father" had done the first nice thing for Matilda since she was born, he let her stay with Miss Honey.

Miss Honey and Matilda then started their own family, in the Red House, with tons of books.

Third and Final Miracle

After talking wtih Miss Honey and learning about her life and hardships, I knew I had to help her. So after practicing my powers, I had the perfect plan. The Trunchbull would be in our classroom that Thursday for the first lesson after lunch. I knew this would be the perfect opportunity. The Trunchbull entered the classroom and immediately started scoulding at Wilfred for stumbling over his three times tables, and was holding him from his ankle swinging him back and forth like a raggidy ann doll. I knew that was my moment to strike. I started moving the chalk with my mind, and as I did Nigel started screaming that the chalk was moving on its own. I started writing what I had to say on the chalkboard:

Agatha, this is Magnus. This is Magnus, and
you'd better believe it.
Agatha, give my Jenny back her house.
Give my Jenny her wages.
Give my Jenny the house then get out of here.
If you don't, I will come and get you
I will come and get you like you got me.
I am watching you Agatha.

At that moment the Trunchbull fainted. Matilda had been victorious.

The next  morning the Trunchbull did not show up to school, and the Deputy Head called her, no answer. He then went to her house, the Red House on the edge of town. Everything was still in the house, expcept for her clothes. Miss Honey then received notice that her father's last will and testament had mysteriously turned up. It revielved that Miss Honey had in fact been the rightful owner of the property since her father's death.

Miss Honey's Story

Miss Honey invited me other to her cottage after I showed her what I was able to do with my eyes. Her cottage was adorable an quaint. It was the epitome of Miss Honey. It was small, and surrounded by beautiful flowers. She even had a well for water! As we walked up the path into her cottage she began to recite this poem every time she walked up this pathway. it was by a poet named Dylan Thomas,

"Never and never, my girl riding far and near
In the land of the hearthstone tales, and spelled asleep,
Fear or believe that the wolf in the sheepwhite hood
Loping and bleating roughly and blothely shall leap, my dear, my dear,
Out of a lair in the flocked leaves in the dew dipped year
To eat your heart in the house in the rosy wood." (p. 184)

It was a beautiful and romantic poem that filled me with happiness. We entered her cottage and i noticed she did not have any furniture, and no bathroom. I was confused and while we enjoyed our tea I inquired about her living arrangements. Miss Honey felt awkward, but then started to tell me her story. She told me that her and her parents lived in a very nice house, that was red brick and tucked away nicely. However, at the age of two Miss Honey's mother passed away. Since her father was the doctor in the village, he asked her mother's unmarried sister to come live and help them out. Miss Honey told me her Aunt was not a nice person. Then at the age of five another tragedy struck, Miss Honey's father died suddenly. She must much to young to ask questions at the time, but as she got older she did and was told her father had killed himself. Miss Honey simply did not believe it, it was just made to look like he had. After her father's death, Miss Honey was raised by her Aunt. Miss Honey described her Aunt as "a demon. As soon as my father was out of the way she became a holy terror. My life was a nightmare" (p. 198). However, when Miss Honey turned 18 she attended a Teacher's Training College, and became a teacher. Then she got a teaching job, her Aunt claimed sheowed her thousands of dollars for taking care of her for all these years. She arranged it with the school to have Miss Honey's money deposited directly into her account. Then one morning when Miss Honey was out on my morning walk she came across this cottage, and rented it from a farmer. Her Aunt was furious! But she moved out anyway. Miss Honey then became a heroine in my eyes, so brave for doing this, but she also needed help. I felt an urge, Miss Honey we can get your house back! It is yours. Miss Honey fell silent, "My Aunt is a respected member of the community" (pg. 205). I was curious, who was it? Miss Honey then looked me in the eye, "Miss Trunchbull, Aunt Trunchbull."

Miracles

Miracle One:
  • So I already told you that Lavender had placed the Newt in Miss Trunchbull's water jug. Well of course I get blamed when she notices the Newt. She blames me because of my great car salesman "father." Anyway, she just kept yelling at me and yelling at me. My eyes just remained focused on the water glass, and all of a sudden it started to wobble back and forth, and then... SPILLED OVER, right onto Miss Trunchbull! She started to shimmy and dance to try to get the newt off of her, she was Fuming! And I knew I had tipped the glass over by some miracle!
Miracle Two:
  • I just had to show someone else that I was able to do this! I decided to show Miss Honey. After everyone left the classroom I demonstrated this ability to Miss Honey. I sat at my desk, and tipped the water glass over again! She was in awe. I cannot believe I was able to do it again!

Lavender

Lavender is a girl in my class that I have become very close with. We hang out together before and after school. I enjoy being around her, and I am very happy that we have become so close. She is funny too! As a joke on Miss Trunchubull, Lavender put the Newt she had caught in the garden in the Trunchbull's water jug.
I CANNOT WAIT TO SEE WHAT HAPPENS!
